The Jewelry Store is the second-oldest heist in Jailbreak, present since the Jewelry Store Update released on June 4th, 2017.

Criminals must punch jewelry cases, pass through deadly obstacles, and deliver the jewelry to one of the Criminal Bases to obtain money.

Overview

The Jewelry Store is a tall, dark-blue building with large glass panels. It has blue carpets for flooring, although some floors are made of red carpets, depending on the floors' variants. The building can be found in the Rising City near the Rising City Criminal Base. It consists of six floors filled with valuable jewelry and deadly obstacles. Each floor has its variants which vary in difficulty.

The Jewelry Store was added alongside the Brulee, which has since been replaced by its successor, the Eclaire. The only heist location that was added before the Jewelry Store was the Rising City Bank.

Unlike the Bank, the Jewelry Store does not require a Keycard to enter. However, compared to other robbery locations, the amount of obstacles makes the Jewelry Store one of the harder heists in-game.

After being robbed in a public server, the store will be closed off and inaccessible for exactly 6 minutes and 40 seconds (10 in-game hours) before opening again. In a Private Server, it will stay closed for 8 minutes and 40 seconds (13 in-game hours).

In the Crew Battles Update, the Jewelry Store exits were revamped to include doors on each side for criminals to exit.

In the Fall 2023 Update, the Jewelry Store now opens alongside the Rising City Bank and the Museum with the new robbery open system.

On Day 1 of the 2023 5 Days of Vehicles Event, a new escape was added inside the Jewelry Store exit floor where criminals can break the glass to exit the building.

Floors

Current

  • Unlike the Bank, the Jewelry Store floors don't have an official name (named by the developers). Floors variants are listed randomly, and the names are chosen regarding their general appearance.
  • After the third revamp that the Jewelry Store received, variants do not appear in bundles. Instead, just two floors are randomized, both floors with cases, and the two final floors stay the same.

This is the ground floor, this is where players enter the Jewelry Store to begin the robbery.

Unlike the previous Jewelry Store, the current has two floors that contain jewel cases to be punched.

It has a large vault or potential freezer that contains five large jewels, sat on ice, that is slowly melting into a drain located in the center of the floor. Players are required to crawl under the vertical lasers and avoid the four parallel lasers that move side-to-side. This floor can be difficult to do at first.

A small corridor containing a camera that moves side to side. Through a doorway, six cameras move rapidly in all directions. There is no "safe zone" on this floor therefore players couldn't prevent attacks from cameras. There're also some jewels in the center.

Previous

  • The floors of the Jewelry Store always appear in a bundle, which means there are actually 4 main variants.
  • As of now, the money counter does not increase if players collect a gem without punching the glass cases.
  • Each gem gives Cash Icon500, as do the ones in the cases.
  • Unlike the Bank, the Jewelry Store floors don't have an official name (named by the developers). Floors are named by when they are added in order.

This is the basement. The basement is located below the street level. There are eight cases to rob, four on each of the two sides. A total of three lasers are laid out in two diagonals and one horizontal or vertical based on how to view the basement.

This is the ground floor, this is where players enter the Jewelry Store to start the robbery. A total of 17 cases are there. 12 cases are lined up including four on the far wall. The other eight are lined up in a two by four configuration near the opposite wall. Three Cases are on the far wall near and the other two cases are to the right.

A total of four lasers are connecting on the large walls. One laser by the cases on the left side of the two by four cases. Finally, two diagonal lasers span the four edges.

Floor 2: Camera Maze: A small maze separated by glasses in between 4 pillars - in which 4 light cameras move around dealing around 14 damage if the light is touched.

Floor 3: Lasers and Spotlights: This is a gem floor that contains lasers (1 moving one), blue cameras, and a few pillars. Cameras can't hit players if they're standing on a gem, so a tip to pass this floor is to jump across the gems and wait for the cameras to move before they walk along the floor to the next one. Make sure not to get hit by the laser at the bottom of the back door as well.

Floor 4: Lasers: A shutter has been partially put down on the door of this floor, requiring players to crawl under the gap to enter. There are a lot of lined up red lasers, some horizontal, some vertical. They must avoid the lasers to reach the back door that leads to the roof exit.

Gallery

The Variant 1 Obbies.

Floor 2: White Spotlights: A gem room with 5 white camera circles moving around the room. Jewels in this room can be grabbed, but players are recommended not to grab too many, as they cannot get damaged by cameras when standing on one. The room is still possible if all gems are grabbed, but less experienced players may find it harder.

Floor 3: Laser Floor: This floor is covered with horizontal lasers. The player is to use the 6 elevated bricks slightly above the lasers to reach the staircase. The player can also use the small gaps between the lasers, though this is much more difficult and useless.

Floor 4: Lasers in Motion: The last variant consists of blue lasers moving at the same time, some sideways, and others forward/backward. At the front of the room, if players run straight through the door and to the left, no lasers can reach them, so that is a recommended place to stand and evaluate from. There are two lasers that are horizontal, and they go across the whole room from the back to the front, right at the floor. The rest of the lasers are vertical and move sideways, though only half reach the edge- the others pause in the middle of the room.

Gallery

The Variant 2 Obbies.

Floor 2: Moving Lasers: A room with moving vertical lasers along with two ground lasers, along with gems placed around. Jump over the lasers on the floor and avoid the vertical lasers to continue to the next floor.

Floor 3: Inanimate Lasers: This floor is incredibly easy, as there are some lasers on the floor to go through, and then players can continue to the next floor. There is also a Gem in the middle of the room that they can pick up.

Floor 4: Giant Spotlights: There are lasers on the floor that players must avoid. There are also 3 translucent white lights that line the middle of the room. Each light shines on its corresponding gem.

Gallery

The Variant 3 Obbies.

Floor 2: Gem Room: The original Jewelry Store gem box room. The room has x lasers horizontally on the ground and 7 gems, now without casing and in their separate and larger forms. The room can be viewed as an extension of the bottom floor.

Floor 3: Light Cameras: The classic camera maze, now inverted, making players go from the end to the start. The maze has remained unchanged except for the inversion and the gem around it.

Floor 4: Red Lasers: The classic laser floor that was based off the original jewelry store's 3rd floor, and has had no major changes. It is still a room with a few lasers on the floor and 4 vertical lasers moving around the end. A glass screen had been added near the start. An interesting detail is that the old doorway/exit to the previous version of the final floor has been blocked off and a new one, leading to the current exit, has been made right in front of it. The button that reveals the translucent lasers has also been removed, as all lasers have been made visible by default.

The Classic Obbies.

The final floor has been made extremely short with just enough space to walk around and pick a door to escape. It is advised to use the mini-map here to see if any police are waiting outside, then the player should quickly run off the rooftop to their escape vehicle or to the city base.

Walk up to any door on the thin ledge and exit to the roof. However, keep an eye out for the police. Then, the player has several options:

  • Go down the ladder.
  • Get in an aerial vehicle left on the roof by themselves, a friend, or an officer who forgot to lock their vehicle.
  • Parachute/glide out and down into the criminal base/shipping yard.
  • Fly to the Criminal Base/Shipping Yard by using the Jetpack.
  • Jump onto the wall extension by the front edge, then jump onto the roof of the staircase. From there, a wooden plank leads the player to the roof of the neighboring building: then parachute down to the Eclaire. If you don't own the Eclaire walk to the Rising City Criminal Base. (weapons are recommended if you run into any Police)

The parachute method has proven to be most effective, as it gives the criminal robbing the most time & probability to get their money, while the Jetpack method was nonetheless effective as criminals could fly away if there are camping police (but it is now ineffective after the Balance Update). Players can also leave their cars near the store and use the parachute to land on their car, driving to the criminal base/shipping yard quickly.

There is a glitch that if players run out a door and come back into the Jewelry Store, they will be teleported to the Eclaire (Only if they are the last one inside); this is useful if there are any police waiting to arrest criminals on the rooftop.

As of the Bank/Jewelry Revamp Update, there is now no door that faces the back, and the roof has been enlarged.

Robbing the Jewelry Store

Items

None are required, but it is recommended to bring them to decrease the chances of failing:

  • Weapons: Weapons are recommended if the police comes and criminals need to defend themselves.
  • Donut/ForcefieldLauncher: Recommended if the player has low health; used to regenerate health.
  • Jetpack: Provides a faster delivery to the Rising City Criminal Base if the player does not have a vehicle nearby. However, the Jetpack is not recommended for all floors as the Jetpack would be rendered useless on a specific floor.
  • Energy Drink: Can be used to dash through a obby with minimum damage.

Entering

Around the outskirts of the Jewelry Store, there will be two "X" marks. Get into crawl mode on them and a laser will open the glass. Crawl through the space.

Robbing

To rob the Jewelry Store, criminals must break open the jewelry cases by pressing F on laptop/desktop or the punch button on mobile. Each broken case gives players Cash Icon500. Players must avoid laser beams while escaping.

If criminals make it out alive, they will need to exchange the jewelry either at the Criminal or Volcano Base to receive their cash reward.

Escaping

There are a total of 3 floors with obstacles that players must pass to get to the 5th floor, which leads outside the roof, and several variants for the floors. Most of them will either have lasers or cameras, and some will have both. Learn the patterns to easily avoid them, since the obstacles remove 1/5 of a player's health - it is recommended to bring donuts if one's health drains.

There is a noticeable staircase at the end of each room. Enter that to get to go up a ramp to the next floor.

Cash Amounts

If criminals rob the Jewelry Store to the maximum amount of money, they should earn up to:

Gamepasses After Fall 2020 Update Before Fall 2020 Update

VIP Gamepass Cash Icon3,000 Cash Icon2,400

Tips And Tricks

  • It is possible to skip the Classic Light Camera section entirely just by walking up against the wall where the cameras are mounted, meaning criminals could potentially slip by without having to wait for spaces in between the lights.
  • It is highly recommended to bring donuts and/or Forcefield Launcher inside the Jewelry Store in case the player has low health.
  • Players can pull out items inside the Jewelry Store, unlike the Museum, to help defend themselves from Police or heal.
  • Try to memorize the location and the paths of the red lights from the security cameras on the second floor. This will help the player escape the second floor of the Variant 1 and Classic Jewelry Store more efficiently without dying.
  • Try to find an AFK (Away from Keyboard) player inside the second floor of the Jewelry Store or a player standing still and use them as a boost to jump over the walls and easily pass the security cameras.
  • On large servers with lots of lag, be wary of moving lasers that may be lagging and may do double damage on you.
  • Be careful when walking out from the top of the Jewelry Store as police tend to camp the top. That is why it is a good idea to bring some weapons when robbing this location. Check the minimap to be sure if they are police nearby.
  • Criminals can turn in Jewelry Store cash at both the Rising City and Volcano Criminal Base if a police officer is camping one. The Rising City Criminal Base is the fastest way to turn in Jewelry Store cash due to it being very close to the Jewelry Store.
  • If you have not already, and you're willing to, buy the Eclaire as a getaway vehicle from the Jewelry Store. It makes a great getaway car, due to its very high top speed and acceleration. Note that the Eclaire is also very expensive, costing Cash Icon600,000.
  • If criminals do not own any of the vehicles mentioned, it is best to just parachute to the Rising City Criminal Base due to it being only a short walk/drive.
  • If the player is the last one in the Jewelry Store, they can teleport out if they walk out and come back in. The player will still have their money and they will spawn near the Eclaire.
  • Try to get into the Jewelry Store before someone starts the robbery, otherwise, you will have to get in from the roof, resulting in criminals having to go through each floor twice (to get down and then back up), and by the time they get down, the cases might've already all be broken, meaning criminals have to wait another minute before they can get money. Before, players could've just collected the giant gems on the first/second floor, but now they can't unless if they have punched the cases.
  • If the jewel in the Classic Camera section is there, it is possible to jump over the wall using the gem.
  • Try not to collect the jewels on the first and second floor because players might jump on them to escape the lasers and cameras and it will make it a lot harder for the players on the ground/first floor.
  • In the Feedback update, the classic version of the first floor still had a mock version of the original door. This door could not be opened and was merely a decoration. In a miscellaneous update, this door was removed.
  • In the Classic 3rd floor; Light Cameras Floor, Jump on the big jewel to your left in order to bypass the majority of the obby.
  • It's not recommended to wear a large-scaled avatar due to the height and the width between some lasers. Players have more chances of dying and taking damage while crossing obstacles. Try to scale the avatar as small as possible and it recommended to wear some Roblox Rthro Packages such as the Magma Fiend to reduce the size of your hitbox.
  • If there are no unbroken cases on the 1st floor, you can go to where there are two parallel lasers, walk between them and turn left, where you will find a set of stairs leading to the basement, which has more cases of jewels.
    • After the jewelry cases respawn after a minute, they only take about one punch to break, instead of four like normal.
  • Using the Jetpack is not necessary, unless doing the camera maze and the classic light camera sections.
  • If a police officer is guarding one door, take one of the other two doors.
  • One effective way of searching or looking for police is to viciously shoot at the doors and walls on the top floor. Any cops hiding behind walls will get hit, and you will know about their exact presence.
  • You can find out what layout the Jewelry Store will have by looking up at the floors before you start the robbery.
  • Parachute to the Rising City Criminal Base, Rising City Garage, or the Ambulance spawn at the Hospital if cops are camping everywhere. If they are even camping the Eclaire, then your best bet is to just get out and parachute right away to your escape.
  • Do not collect the gems before punching at least one gem box.

Trivia

  • Before the Jewelry Store was added, it was being "place-held" by a grey building with several slim windows. However, it was not fully removed when the store was added, just under the Jewelry Store. It is unknown if it is still there.
  • The Jewelry Store was released alongside the now-retired Brulee which spawned next to it. After it was retired in March 2020, the vehicle spawning there was changed to the Eclaire.
  • The Jewelry Store was the fourth robbable location in the game. The first three were the Rising City Bank, Donut Shop, and Gas Station.
  • The Jewelry Store is currently the least rewarding building heist in Jailbreak at Cash Icon2,500, as the train robberies give only Cash Icon1,750 and the Donut Shop and Gas Station give Cash Icon500 (without any Gamepasses).
    • The classic Bank layout gives Cash Icon2,000 with no gamepasses.
    • The Power Plant has the potential to give less than Cash Icon2000 if you rob it slow enough.
  • Players cannot enter the Jewelry Store via the main door at the front, as the door is just for decoration.
  • If a gap is already opened, criminals cannot open another one at the other X. In other words, only one gap can be opened at a time.
  • Sometimes when players try to deploy the Parachute on the Jewelry Store roof, they will ragdoll on the ground for a few seconds.
    • After skydiving was added, players now only need to press "O" or space to deploy their parachute, reducing the chances of the parachute failing to deploy.
    • This glitch is shared with the Jetpack today.
  • On laggy servers, players can also duplicate the money by continuously punching one jewelry box.
  • In the first version of the Jewelry Store, the top floor's windows were shaded so that Police cannot see the criminals' escape route as easily.
  • During the 2B Visits Update, this location did not sink during the eruption in order to keep players that were currently robbing the location from sinking into the ground.
    • This is one of a few buildings in the Rising City to stay the same during the 2B Visits Update, others being the Rising City Gun Shop, Basement of the Bank, and the Rising City Garage so players inside these locations were not affected when the event occurred.
      • The same happened in the 2020 Live Event.
  • In the 2018 Winter Update, the texture for the windows of the Jewelry Store was changed in order to match the ones of other buildings in the City.
    • Since of the 2018 Winter Update, the cameras are now more clear to the player but was made a little harder.
  • Sometimes, a bug happens where a player's cash GUI from the jewelry store disappears, and the player does not receive their Jewelry Store cash. This is caused due to server lag and is less likely to happen in newer servers. This has more probabilities to happen when using the Jetpack. This can be triggered if you rob the Bank and enter the Jewelry Store before the former's' robbery has ended.
  • Re-spawned jewelry boxes only require one punch to break.
  • In the City/Weapons Update, the Jewelry Store got bigger by adding a new wall to the side, increasing the size of the store, and preventing people from robbing the store from the outside.
  • In the "Mega Robbery Update", the Jewelry Store was expanded by having a new staircase added to it, along with a combination of six total possible floors that could spawn. Only 3 spawn each robbery, however.
    • Additionally, the Jewelry Store received music during this update, along with the Bank. Anyone that enters the Jewelry store whilst it is being robbed will now hear this.
  • When the Jewelry Store got revamped, police and criminals could enter through the top door. Soon. the doors were fixed to let no one in the Jewelry Store, and then afterward criminals could enter through the door.
    • Criminals can also let police in the store.
    • When the Jewelry Store is closed, players can still enter from the top doors, but then they will get teleported outside if they try go down the staircase.
  • In the Mega Robbery Update, the Jewelry Store received dimmer light when open.
  • There is a glitch that the Jewelry Store will look closed from a distance, but when criminals go closer, the lights will show. A similar effect is created with the Rising City Bank. The opposite can appear: It looks open but is actually closed.
    • The robbery icons now show if it is open or closed for players with the Crime Boss gamepass.
  • When the Mega Robbery Update first came out, all floors of the Jewelry Store were a little out of order. A tiny bit of all obstacles poked out of the Jewelry Store, which made a side of the obstacles clear. In other words, there was a path where players could avoid all obstacles.
    • This was patched on a later update.
  • On the 3rd floor of the "Classic" layout of the Jewelry Store as they reach the opening to the stairs, there was a locked elevator door. It was an unnameable door and if players were to glitch through it, they would find some stairs leading to nowhere. They could see it if they fly outside when the Jewelry Store#Classic layout is present.
    • As of the 2021 update, this was removed however there is another floor with an elevator referencing it.
  • If you jump either on the "Floor 1: Moving Lasers" or "Floor 3: Lasers", you will get hit by no reason.
  • The "light" on the "Floor 4, Giant Spotlights", used to be solid, this was later patched.
  • As of the Bank/Jewelry Store Update of February 2, 2020, the Jewelry Store got a revamp, having a redesigned ground floor and added a basement for more jewelry cases to punch.
  • The Jewelry Store is the first location in Jailbreak to become an robbery after place-held by an inaccessible building, second being Museum and third currently being the Power Plant.
    • The Tomb and Mansion also had placeholder locations in their location before they became robberies.
  • As of May 2020 update, the Jetpack no longer works in the Jewelry Store.
    • As of May 17th, this feature was added back due to popular requests.
  • There used to be a glitch were you can escape with low-suspension vehicles without going through the obbies, but has mostly been fixed after the Balance Update removed the ability to use vehicles very close to a robbery. However, players are still capable of doing it. The best vehicles have pointed fronts, such as La Matador, Airtail, and Stallion. However, you must own the Airtail in order to use it to escape.
    • When the Blade came out, this and other robberies including the Museum had a glitch where you could attach your Blade onto the windows and escape through it.
  • In the Power Plant Revamp update, the basement was filled with grass and was hard to be robbed.
    • This was removed soon after and it's unknown what causes the glitch.
    • Also, the Warehouse at the Cargo Port also filled with grass where players drop crates from the Cargo Ship.
  • When the new floors first came out, the lasers and pillars would stick out of the walls and damage players on the outside. It also created a safe path for players to walk right through without taking any damage from them. This was later patched.
  • This is second robbery heist location in Jailbreak to revamped, after Rising City Bank & third being Power Plant.
  • The "No Jetpack Zone" in the jewelry store was confirmed to come in the Balance update, but asimo3089 decided to not add this. However, Jetpacks can't be used on the roof.
  • The Rope Glitch was patched before, until it was added back in the Season 7 Update because of the new Jewelry Store revamp.
    • Beware that cops may have the upper hand of using the rope glitch from a Helicopter to enter the Jewelry Store. It is recommended that you rob it as fast as you can, and you should always be ready with your guns just in case. asimo3089 has confirmed the glitch will never be patched as cops can enter anyway.
  • The exterior of the Jewelry Store along with the Power Plant was updated to combat against campers in the Crew Battles Update.
  • After 2023 Fall Update, Jewelry Store has been classified to Robbery Group A, opening along with Rising City Bank and the Museum.
