The Sewers is an underground location that prisoners can use to escape from Prison. It has 4 entrances and exits, two outside the Prison and two within it.
In the 2023 Prison Update, the Sewers system was revamped adding new entrances inside the Prison, escapes and more.
Overview
Current
The new sewer system goes underground all the way around the prison complex. There are two hatches one in between the Prison Police Station and Visitors Building while the other is located in the yard. Like before the water in the sewer slowly pushes players along the current. Towards the end of the escape there is a area which pushes you in a different way to where your meant to go so you need to jump to go the right way. After this area you reach a parkour area which you have to jump across to get to a pathway with two ladders to the two escapes one being in front of the gates and the other being in front of the camaro spawn. Beware though as the bottom of this area acts like the pit in the Power Plant and the Cargo ship drop off where if you fall in it you die.

The water in the sewer slowly pushes players along the current. Running with the water movement made players run/walk/crawl faster while running against the water movement made players run/walk slower. The entrance was located between the Prison Garage and Prison Police Station. Once the player is in the sewers, the only way they can escape is through the way they came in at, or at one of the other two escape points. The exit outside the prison does not open from the outside, only from the inside; players are still able to enter if helped by a friend inside the sewers. Be careful when escaping this way, police can open the sewer's hatch and come into the sewers themselves.

- First exit: Sends the player in front of the Prison main entrance gates.
- Second exit: Across the street from where it previously was; near the Camaro spawn.

- First exit: Sends the player to the parking lot, in front of the Prison parking lot gate control booth.
- Second exit: Sends the player next to the tunnel on the left side of the prison, besides the Camaro spawn and tunnel that leads to the Mountainside Town.
- Third exit (removed): Sends the player next to the electric fence. It was removed in the August 2020 update due to lack of use, and also likely to reduce parts in order to decrease lag.
Tips
- Police tend to camp inside the sewers or outside them near the Prison exit, therefore it is recommended to use the minimap before entering/exiting. Do NOT enter the sewers if you spot a cop going inside.
Piggy Crossover (removed)

In the Nukes Update of May 3rd, 2020, Badimo partnered with the developer of Piggy for a crossover. Piggy-themed rims were added to Jailbreak, along with a Piggy enemy that appeared in the sewers from 9:30 PM to 11:45 PM in-game time. In order to obtain the Piggy rims, the player must go inside the sewers at the correct time and get killed by Piggy. To learn how to get the Poley Skin in Piggy, click here.

Trivia
- This is one of the seven underground areas in Jailbreak, the others being the cells in the Prison, the Tomb, the Military Base's Silo, the Bank Vault/Basement, the Power Plant and the now-removed Bounty Island.
- There is an Easter Egg in the sewers, a pizza box (From Work at a Pizza Place, a Roblox game made by user Dued1), and some turtles, seemingly alluding to the kids show Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
- Players can go down the two entrances in the prison, but one cannot be opened from the outside.
- This escape was leaked on asimo3089's Twitter before its release.
- In the Oceans Update of April 4th, 2020, the sewer was revamped, changing to a dark green and black colour scheme. The water stream that pushes players was also changed to a dark sludge decal and lost its ability to move players, this was later restored in the Nukes Update.
- In the Nuke Update, Piggy spawns inside the sewers between 9:30 pm to 11:45 pm game time. Dying to her will earn the player the "Piggy" rims customization for use on cars.
- This has since been removed in the Season 2 Update.
- When you first enter the sewers you are not guilty until you walk further into the sewers. Occasionally prisoners cannot be arrested even if they went deep into the sewers or left one of the exits. This has received criticism from many police officers.
- There were once three exits, but after the August 2020 Update, one of the exits were removed.
- In the 2023 Prison Update, Sewers were revamped with new entrances and exits, along with new atmosphere sounds while inside the sewer system.
