This page only contains the regular prison. For the high-security prison, see Maximum Security Prison. For the vehicle of a similar name, see the Prison Bus.

The Prison, otherwise known as the Jail, is a major location in Jailbreak where prisoners spawn and have to escape from it.

Overview

About a quarter of the Prison itself is surrounded by electric fencing. Anyone who comes in contact with the wire at the top of the fence will take 25 damage every .3 seconds if they're moving, meaning you can stand on an electric fence without taking any damage. As of the 2023 Prison Update. the only fence that can be stood on is near the electric box escape. The rest of it is surrounded by tall prison watchtowers with surveillance platforms that can only be accessed with a keycard. The back half of the Prison has a standard wall with climbable towers, however, players need a keycard, an aerial vehicle, or a Firetruck to get onto them. There are several trees scattered in and around the complex.

On May 29, 2023, the Prison sustained major damage with fires breaking out and overall chaos. According to a tweet from Badimo here, "multiple fires have been reported", including info being "our exclusive sources tell us the Prison will be back to full operation by Friday."

On May 31, 2023, Badimo announced an all-new Prison coming in June including new escapes, cells and floorplans, spotlights and more new features. [1]

In the 2023 Prison Update, the Prison was revamped featuring new escapes, features and locations within the Prison area.

In the Season 17 Update, a new Maximum Security Prison building was added inside the Prison. The building serves as a holding spot for arrested criminals with a bounty of Cash Icon3500 or higher.

Locations

Current

The Main Building is the largest building of the Prison, with two floors, several rooms, and plenty of floor space. It's also the Prison even though the entire thing shares the same name. It is located opposite the yard and diagonally adjacent to the Prison Police Station.

The main building houses 4 main rooms. They are the Cafeteria, Cell Block, Security Office and Telephone room. The Security Office is the only room which requires a keycard to enter. When you enter the main door you view the hallway and the Top Criminals Board which shows the criminals with the highest bounties in the server. However the board isnt currently working. On your left you have the Telephone room and on your right you have the cafeteria. If you go down the hallway you will see a door straight ahead leading to the cell block and one on the left leading to the Security Office.

The Cafeteria is a location in the Prison. This location does not have a purpose except for being the location where you can equip a donut to give to the Rusty NPC. However it does serve a bit of "sentimental" value. In the Cafeteria, there are tables and a countertop where prisoners would supposedly grab their meal trays from.

Main Article: Security Office

The Security Office is a rather small location found at the Prison. It is located near the cell block with a door on the floor of it and a door next to the cell holding the Rusty NPC. If a player spawns as a Prisoner, follow the hallway and you will find the upper door. Continue onto the cell block and to the cell holding rusty and you will find the lower door. Players will need a keycard to get in, or a Police officer must let them in.

The armory here includes a Shotgun and a Pistol, but lacks SWAT Gamepass gear and Police uniforms. There is also a Baton and a Security Cameras viewing point.

Trivia

  • This location has been here since the start of Jailbreak and has always had the Pistol & Shotgun on the table.

The Cell Block is the location that houses the prison cells. The Prison Cells are locations in Jailbreak. They are found in the Prison inside the main building and previously deep down in the Bounty Island. If players enter the main building follow the hallway and go down the stairs, they will encounter the cell block. Arrested criminals will spawn here after they switch to Prisoner for 20 seconds, players on the prisoner or criminal team will also spawn here for 20 seconds if they reset. They may also notice arrows on the ground, which point towards the flight of steps. These arrows are used for directing new players to where they should go after getting out of their cell. If players follow the arrows in the opposite direction, they'll walk around the long way before encountering the stairs.

The Maximum Security Prison is the newest building inside the Prison, which serves as a holding block for high bounty criminals.

Criminals must take the elevator downstairs to a room full of lasers to escape the building, which is connected to the Main Building. Completing the obstacle will lead you to the exit.

The Prison Yard is a location in Jailbreak that is located in the Prison. It contains a large variety of objects, although most of them are just props, the trampoline and treadmill are both somewhat intractable. The trampoline, when walked on, will bounce prisoners into the air. If they try to stay on for an extended period, it will bounce them higher than usual and ragdoll them when hitting the ground. The treadmills will push the player back on them. This area is the main spawn of Prisoners when they join the prisoner team.

The Prison Gun Shop is a gun shop near the punching box escape. It is the only gun shop which requires a keycard in the game.

The Telephone Room is located in the main building the door is to the left of the entrance.

This room has no use and is purely cosmetic. There are unusable telephones and chairs players can sit in. However there is nothing else other then a bin which looks like the Red character from the video game Among Us it is unknown if this is a easter egg or not.

Main Article: Visitors Building

The Visitors Building is a minor building in Jailbreak. It is located inside the Prison. Prisoners can use this route to escape by going through the vent which leads to the police station in the prison.

Appearance

The Visitors Building is a small one-story building located next to the Prison Police Station. It has white walls and a red roof. The visitors building is seperated into 2 rooms. One can only be opened using a keycard on the parking lot side and the other door opens periodically based on the prison schedule. In the prison side there is a vent leading to the prison police station which players can sneak into to grab weapons to help them escape the prison.

Main article: Prison Police Station

The Prison Police Station is a large location at the Prison. Inside of the Prison Police Station, there are many Weapons and Items for Police officers (or Prisoners/Criminals with keycards or who go through the vent) to obtain. A few glowing monitors on desks with some chairs can be found. The upper floor has a darker blue floor but otherwise the same desks and computers as well as a area to view security cameras. On the roof of the police station, there is a button that opens the gates between the police station and visitors buildings and there is also a helipad where the Helicopter spawns. If you go up the ladder, there is a helipad where the Little Bird spawns. There is an American flag directly in front of the police station.

The front of the Prison complex contains a very large Parking Lot. The parking lot serves as a spawn point for the Camaro, Interrogator. Deja and SWAT Van. In the July 2023 Update, a Prison Bus spawn was added outside of the Visitors Building. There is a separate area near the exit of the security office which houses the Patrol spawn point.

Prisoners/Criminals can easily escape from the parking lot if it is left unguarded, as there are several vehicles the criminals can steal, a hole in the fence that criminals can crawl under to escape and a ladder going over the fence. Criminals and Prisoners can access the parking lot through the police station or by using the punching box escape. At the entrance of the parking lot is a gatehouse containing two buttons that can be used to operate the gates and allow vehicles in or out of the complex. There is also a pistol in between the buttons.

In the Winter 2020 Update, a Bank Truck drop-off was added right outside of the Prison Police Station.

The Main Building is the largest building of the Prison, with two floors, several rooms, and plenty of floor space. It's also the Prison even though the entire thing shares the same name.

When players enter the building from the outside, the door in front of criminals will be the Cafeteria. to the right, the Top Criminals Board, which serves to display the criminals with the highest bounties, can be found. To the left of the entrance is the telephone area, which contains several aesthetic telephones and chairs. The left of the Top Criminals Board has three cells and a flight of stairs to the basement that houses the other prisoner cells and a small armory for the police (or a prisoner if they so happen to obtain a keycard). There are six doors in the main building counting the 1 inside the Cafeteria.

The front of the Prison complex contains a very large Parking Lot. Three vehicles previously spawned at the parking lot: the SWAT Van, that comes with the SWAT Gamepass, a Camaro, the Patrol, and the SUV up until July 2020, where the SUV was retired, and the newly added SUV, the Surus took it's place.

Criminals can easily escape from the parking lot if it is left unguarded, as there are several vehicles the criminals can steal, and a hole in the fence that criminals can crawl under to escape. At the entrance of the parking lot is a gatehouse containing two buttons that can be used to operate the gates and allow vehicles in or out of the complex. Also in the parking lot sits a single ramp, which can be used for escaping with the addition of Rocket Fuel.

In the Winter 2020 Update, a Bank Truck drop-off was added right outside of the Prison Police Station.

The Cafeteria is a location in the Prison. This location does not have much of a purpose other than to be a spawn location for prisoners, but it does serve a bit of "sentimental" value. In the Cafeteria, there are tables and a countertop where prisoners would supposedly grab their meal trays from. This is where prisoners will always spawn at Breakfast or Dinner time on the Prison Schedule.

Attributes

Meal Trays

On the tables, there are meal trays. Each of these contains a randomly colored juice box and some other food like bacon and slices of meat. Originally, there was only one of these in the near right corner table. Though it was not an Easter Egg, it is well known as most players usually notice it as they spawn in the Cafeteria.

Before the 1B Visits Update, the tray consisted of eggs, a fork, and a juice box. Though after the update, it consisted of broccoli, asparagus, and a juice box. In the Alien Update, the broccoli turned purple. The meal trays have been revamped as of the Prison Update. Depending on the time, they will appear or disappear.

Kitchen

There was a kitchen in the back of the Cafeteria. Though access required a keycard or the use of a Police officer, it was used as an escape to the roof which then leads to a rather large jump over to the perimeter walls of the Prison. This was the arguably least used escape method. See Escaping for more details on how to escape using the kitchen.

Note: This was removed in the 2019 Prison Update as of March 31, 2019.

Storage Room

The Storage Room now contains 11 boxes that have the Jailbreak logo and an arrow to mimic the Amazon logo. One of them is blank. There is also a large door in the back, which leads to another door on the prison wall. Both require keycards to open, along with the door to enter the room.

Trivia

  • The Cafeteria roof was rebuilt during the Winter 2018 Update.
  • The meal tray received a slight change in the 1B Visits Update and another one in the Alien Update.
  • Prisoners spawn here during Breakfast and Dinner time.
  • The doors to the Cafeteria are always open, so a keycard is not required to enter.
  • The Kitchen Escape was there since Jailbreak's public release.
  • In other related Roblox prison games like Prison Life, Mad City or Redwood Prison, there are actual meal trays that prisoners can pick up and interact with. Trays, however, cannot be interacted with in Jailbreak.
  • The cafeteria, like the rest of the Prison, had a huge overhaul in the Prison Update.
  • As of the June 2021 Update, every prison cells change to a neon orange around the edges.

The Kitchen was a small room inside the Prison that protruded out of the side of the cafeteria and contained two keycard-locked doors, one inside the cafeteria and one on the front of the Kitchen itself.

Prisoners could have entered the kitchen and climbed into an air vent, accessible by using the cupboards to boost a player into it which would lead them to the top of the Main Building. To escape, all a Criminal needed to do was cross over a small wire to jump onto the wall. This method of escape was easily the most uncommon one to see being used and was usually only used when cops were difficult to sneak past.

Trivia

  • This is first Prison location to be removed from the game, second being Visitors Building.

The Telephone Room is located in the main building left of the entrance. It requires a keycard.

Inside are supposedly telephones and books. Players can't use the telephones or books because they are merely just for decoration. Players can sit in the chairs.

There used to be a glitch where the doors of the room will be locked when a server is started and will require a keycard. This was fixed in the Wings/Spoiler Customization Update.

Main Article: Security Office

The Security Office is a rather small location found at the Prison. It is located on the cell floor, which is the lowest one in the map, along with the Rising City Bank/Crater City Bank basement & the Sewers.

If a player spawns as a Prisoner, follow the opposite way the arrows are pointing in the cell floor, and the prisoner will eventually reach this location. Players will need a keycard to get in, or a Police officer must let them in.

The armory here includes a Shotgun, a Pistol, but lacks SWAT Gamepass gear and Police uniforms. Police used to spawn here at "Cell Time," between 11 PM & 6:30 AM, but as of the July 2021 Update, they no longer spawn here.

Trivia

  • This location has been here since the start of Jailbreak and has always had the Pistol & Shotgun on the table.
  • Before, Prisoners could glitch into the office by rapidly crouching by the metal door, which of course is now patched.
  • As of 03/30/2019, the office has got a revamped look, along with the Prison itself.

Main Article: Visitors Building

The Visitors Building is a minor building in Jailbreak. It is located inside the Prison. Prisoners can use this route to escape. It was removed on October 4th, 2020 but later returned in the Prison update on June 3rd, 2023.

Appearance

The Visitors Building is a small one-story building located next to the Prison Police Station. Its exterior walls consisted of a white base with red lines circling the entire building. It had a pair of double doors at the front and back of the building and two singular doors that lead to the front and side of the building, all of which could only be opened with a keycard. The building had five windows, three that overlooked the prison courtyard, one that overlooked the parking lot, and one that overlooked a small road located near the side of the building.

The inside of the building had a modern red design applied to the interior walls and floor and was furnished with a reception counter, five trash cans, and three vending machines. It also had six, long black electrical lights that hang from the ceiling. In the front of the visitor's building, there was an indent, but otherwise normal walls.

Trivia

  • This location was only in the game for realism, as it serves no purpose.
  • In the past, criminals used to be able to get inside through the Prison parking lot without a keycard, but in a later update, it was made so only police officers and criminals or prisoners with a keycard can get inside this place.
  • This building has been replaced by the Prison Garage.

The Prison Yard is a location in Jailbreak that is located in the Prison. The trampoline, when walked on, will bounce prisoners into the air. If they try to stay on for an extended period, it will bounce them higher than usual and ragdoll them when hitting the ground. The treadmills will push the player back on them, similar to the water in the sewers. During free time and cell time, the yard may become crowded because Prisoners will spawn there when they join the game.

It is speculated that in the future, prisoners may be able to work out in the yard, and also gain extra health that can be used when fighting off/taking shots from Police, as the idea has been on their Trello board for quite some time now.

Trivia

  • The Roblox Logo that is part of the Yard and is made out of concrete.
  • When a new update comes out (like the Winter Update), the yard may change colors, depending on the season and the theme.
  • The Yard is one of the first few Locations when Jailbreak first came out.
  • This is one of the most common locations in the prison for a criminal helicopter to come to and pick up any prisoners to escape. Most of the time, they can be found landing in the yard; however, they tend to never stay for long, as they do not want to get caught by a Police Officer.
  • As of the 1B Visits Update, the small soccer ball Easter Egg spawns in the middle of the Roblox logo.
  • The trampoline launches prisoners upward but it sometimes lags and launches players very high causing them to ragdoll when they touch back down.
  • Skilled players can use the trampolines to fling out of prison. The boost height is greatly exaggerated by crawling on the trampolines.
  • On a new server, the front entrance to the yard will open at 11 AM.

Main article: Vents

The Vents are one of the rarest escape methods. They lead to the roof of the main building. However you need a cop to open them for you since a keycard is required. They were located near the security office.

Main article: Sewers

The Sewers are an underground location that Prisoners can use to escape from the Prison.

It has three entrances and exits. One of them are outside the prison and two are inside the prison. The water in the sewer slowly moves players, pushing them along with the current. Running with the water movement makes players run/walk faster while running against the water movement makes players run/walk slower. The entrance is located between the Prison Garage and Prison Police Station.

Once a player is in the sewers, the only way they can escape is through the way they came in at, or at one of the other 2 escape points. The exit outside the prison doesn't open from the outside, only from the inside, yet players are still able to enter through it if they have a friend inside the sewers already.

List Of Sewer Exits

  • First exit: Sends prisoners to the parking lot, in front of the Prison parking lot gate control booth.
  • Second exit (removed): Sends prisoners out to the far right side of the prison next to the Camaro.
  • Third exit: Sends prisoners next to the tunnel on the left side of the prison, besides the Camaro spawn and tunnel that leads to the Mountainside Town.

Tips

  • Police can easily camp in the sewers, so be sure to look closely on the Minimap before entering.

Trivia

  • There is an Easter Egg in the sewers, a pizza box (From Work at a Pizza Place, a Roblox game made by user Dued1), and some turtles, alluding to the show Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
  • Criminals can go down the 2 entrances in the prison, but one outside cannot be opened.
  • This escape was leaked on asimo3089 Twitter before its release.
  • There seems to be grass seen in the sewers. It is most likely a terrain mistake.
  • In the Nukes Update, Piggy was added inside the Sewer.

The Prison Cells are locations in Jailbreak. They are found in the Prison inside the main building and deep down in the Bounty Island. If players enter the main building from the courtyard and follow the hallway to the end, they can take a flight of steps down. At the bottom is the cell block. Arrested criminals will spawn here after they switch to Prisoner for 20 seconds. They may also notice arrows on the ground, which point towards the flight of steps. These arrows are used for directing new players to where they should go after getting out of their cell. If players follow the arrows in the opposite direction, they'll encounter Nothing, so the player has to follow the arrows to the stairs.

Trivia

  • When the March 2019 Update came out, three new cells were added on the top floor, in addition, the cells got a revamp.
  • This location receives color changes in seasonal Update Log, with the theme depending on the season.
  • There are 32 cells in the cell block, meaning there are 2 that are not used, as only 30 players can join one server. For a long time, 6 cells could not be used as only 26 players could join one server, and for a brief period after the Town Revamp Update, all cells could be used as 32 players could join one server.
  • The cells along with the Sewers, Jewelry Store, Military Base and the Rising City Bank/Crater City Bank vault/basement are the deepest/furthest down part of the Jailbreak map.
  • Sometimes the cells are closed when there isn't any prisoner waiting for his/her release after an arrest.
  • Prisoners used to spawn here during cell time, but now they either spawn in the telephone room or the yard during cell time.
  • During cell time, Police automatically spawn in either the Police HQ, the Rising City Police Station, or the Prison Police Station.
  • Occasionally, the cell door will be closed when players spawn into it. It usually takes a couple of seconds to open again.
  • Players are not randomly spawned into a cell, it is done in a specific order, meaning that 2 cells are never used at all.
  • As of a recent update, police can no longer arrest prisoners in the cell area to prevent farming cash.

Main article: Prison Garage

The Prison Garage is a location in Jailbreak. It replaced the Visitors Building, and is now a spawn point of three vehicles. It reorganizes vehicle spawns at the Prison. It houses the SWAT Van, a Deja automatically equipped with police sirens, the Interrogator, the Surus, and the Patrol.

Prison Schedule

Jailbreak's prison operates on a daily schedule. While guards may choose to enforce or ignore this daily routine, the game itself does not force the Prisoners to enter their cells, attend breakfast, work out in the yard, etc.

It is rare to see prisoners who follow this schedule, as they usually focus on escaping the prison.

Each 15-minute time period is 10 real-world seconds long, meaning an hour is 40 seconds long, and a full day-night cycle is 24 minutes (plus two 4 minutes of rain cycle).

As of the 2023 Prison Update, Prisoner spawns no longer change based on the time.

Trivia

Current

  • The Visitor Building, Prison Police Station, and the Main Building are the colors of the teams in Jailbreak, prisoner (orange, like the main building), criminal (red, like the Visitor Building), and police (blue, like the Prison Police Station). This is likely because of who mainly occupies the building. Police officers will be in the Police Station, Prisoners will be in the Main Cell Building, and Criminals would be visiting in the Visitor Building.
  • The gates to the yard are closed when the schedule is not yard time or free time. However they open for players who walk up to them much like other doors and gates around the map.
  • Players used to be considered guilty when standing in the area in front of the Police Station and Visitors Building for a few days after the revamp. This was fixed in a patch.
  • The spotlights that used to appear on the watchtowers were returned.
  • In the punch box escape, there are footprint leading to how players get out of the Prison Gun Shop area.

  • When Jailbreak was first released, the grass wasn't actually terrain (except for the yard). This was changed in the Ramp Update.
  • Players used to be considered to be guilty when standing between the Visitor Building and Prison Police Station. This was changed in the Sewer Escape Update.
  • The prison was revamped in the Prison Update. The entire area received a new look, the kitchen was removed and the Vent escape was moved to the cell corridor, making it much more convenient, but access to the vents requires a Keycard.
  • Piggy spawned in the sewers from 9:30 pm to 11:00 pm. Getting killed by Piggy awarded you the Piggy rims. Also, the Piggy music played when close to Piggy.
    • Now, Piggy is removed, since the crossover between the two games ended.
  • There used to be spotlights on each tower, but they've been removed for an unknown reason.
    • These were probably removed to reduce unnecessary things from the game, as the spotlights had no use after they stopped being useful.
    • On June 2nd, 2023, the spotlights were brought back. They now automatically follow the nearest criminal right when escaping the prison.
  • After the October Town Update, the collisions on the umbrellas were removed, making it harder to escape.
  • In the October Town Update, arrows were added directing prisoners to escape routes in an attempt to help new players escape.
  • For unknown reasons, there is no schedule for lunchtime, meaning that food is only served two times a day.

Prison Raiding

Prison Raiding is an act that can be done by all three teams. While not an official Jailbreak feature, it is a popular thing that Jailbreak players do for fun. No rewards will be granted to a player taking part in a raid, and the amount of players in a raid has no limit.

Prison raiding usually begins when one or more players, usually criminals or prisoners, acquire weapons and begin to attack any police officer they see in the Prison. This either happens when a team of criminals get weapons from the Gun Shops in either the Mountainside Town or Rising/Crater City, and then infiltrate the Prison and attack any Police players they see, or when a prisoner successfully gets a weapon and begins to fight the police within the Prison. Sometimes, criminals and prisoners will also try to liberate other prisoners, done by flying helicopters into the prison yard and letting prisoners in to fly them to freedom.

Prison raiding can also happen if a prisoner enters the vent in the visitors building sneaks into the police station and grabs weapons. There is also a gun store in the Prison where police can drop weapons through the wall. If a prisoner gains a key card they can punch the punch box and enter the gun store to acquire weapons.

Police could also take part in raiding by attacking fellow officers with friendly-fire weapons like rocket launchers, grenades, or C4s however the friendly fire aspect of these was removed in the 2021 5 Days of Vehicles event. They can still defend from raids by killing or arresting criminals.

Prison raiding can begin and end at any time. Raids usually last fairly long, and can drag on for quite a long time. Raids only end either after police successfully arrest all raiding criminals/prisoners and criminals kill all police officers taking part in the raid, or the criminals and prisoners simply lose interest in raiding and disengage. Raids can easily restart, however, when the prisoners who have been arrested for raiding decide to get guns from the Prison, restarting a raid.

As many players who participate in raids are skilled players, there is a risk of being killed by the opposing team, or arrested by police if one plays on the criminal/prisoner side.

Tips for raiding

  • Stay away from Police and attack at long range: Attack from mid to long distances to avoid being arrested the moment the raiding begins. The best weapons for this are the Sniper Rifle and Rocket Launcher
  • Be careful when Police pull out a taser: Jump around and zigzag while shooting an officer when they pull out a taser, since getting hit by a taser bolt will ragdoll a player for several seconds, giving the police an edge in trying to arrest criminals. These tips apply to normal combat as well, but is especially important for avoiding taser bolts.
  • Train your aim: Raiding relies on good aim, especially since short distance combat is not advised. Without good aim, one likely will not deal much damage to police and may be subdued more easily.
  • Pick up keycards from dead police: Police have a chance to drop keycards upon dying, so it is advised to obtain one under a safe situation if it is needed.
  • Bring a glider: When one is being closed in by police, having a glider will ensure a quick escape from police when they get too close by gliding away. Be wary since Gliders can only be used once. Jetpacks will not work in this scenario, since they are disabled in the Prison, which is why a Glider is recommended instead.
  • Barricade police spawns with fire: Shoot multiple rockets at the doors of a police spawn point (police station or security office inside the prison block) to cause huge fires. This will drain the health of the police attempting to escape their spawn points, allowing for easier kills, if not an instantaneous one.

Tips for defending from a raid

  • Bring healing items: One will have their health depleted quickly often in a prison raid. When playing on the Police team trying to defend from a raid, be sure to bring items for healing purposes, such as a Forcefield Launcher and/or a Donut. If one has the SWAT Gamepass, bring a Riot Shield to block bullets for extra protection.
  • Use your surroundings to your advantage: Hide whenever possible or necessary to reduce damage taken.
  • Employ the taser: Using a taser can be very effective in a raid, since one can stun a criminal to disable them for a few seconds. This will allow either an opportunity to arrest the criminal, or reduce the enemy's firepower to allow a change to escape and heal.
  • Kill if necessary: Killing and not arresting prisoners is highly recommended, since they will simply respawn in the Prison without their weapons, and not respawn in a Criminal Base, which would allow them to return for a second round.

Tips for both sides

  • Bring friends and/or teammates: Bring along teammates for support during raids. This is especially important for the Criminal side of a raid, as fellow criminals may be able to bust teammates out of handcuffs when they are arrested.
  • Use missiles: For police who are defending from the raid, using a Black Hawk or Jet to lower enemy health before you enter the fray to arrest can grant a huge advantage. For criminals, taking down police with missiles will greatly turn the tide of the battle, and is an invaluable weapon.
  • Watch the minimap and use third person view: Watching the minimap can help identify hidden opponents, and using the third person view will help one see and anticipate an attack/arrest attempt earlier than in first person, allowing a preemptive escape or attack.
  • Have an escape vehicle nearby: When being swarmed by the opposite team, having a vehicle nearby to get away with will be a good idea. A good choice would be to park locked Aerial Vehicles or Hovercraft in the Prison Yard, as, unlike cars, they can escape through Prison walls and gates due to the ability of flight.
